Shonda Folsom earned her bachelor's degree from Southwest Baptist University and her law degree from the University of Notre Dame.

To balance out a heavy load of legal writing and analysis, she has continued her childhood love of science fiction, fantasy, mysteries and other just-for-fun fiction.

After a recent move to West Texas, Shonda is serving as the Secretary for the West Texas Writers association (westtexaswriters.org), a nonprofit organization that assists regional writers. Shonda is also excited to be doing more writing on a variety of subjects.
